Make your elevator pitch stand out when networking

If you go to a networking event how do you talk to people?

What do you say in your 30-60 second pitch?

Networking is a great way of meeting people who you can sell your products and services too, but it's also a great way of telling people what you can do so they refer you to others.

Networking is all about building relationships.


What do you say in your elevator pitch?

When you stand up and give your pitch what do you say?

If you have never done a pitch before it can be quite daunting.

Remember everyone has been in your position before. The key to getting it right is to prepare.

Don't give out too much information as people just won't remember it all.

Stand out from the crowd, give the benefits of what you can do for someone, rather than explaining what your business does.

A florist...

Good morning, I'm Emily from Flowers R Us.
Our flower displays create a wonderful sense of peace in your beautiful home. Bringing the outside in and providing you with beautiful colours to brighten any day.
I'm currently doing a monthly offer where you can have two bouquets of flowers delivered to your home every week!
