Benn has made such a positive affect on my life and no matter what spanner seems to be thrown into the works, Benn has away of being able to stop me over thinking and worrying about things that have not happened. Benn has support me through getting divorced and leaving an abusive relationship, and even now when something triggers me, Benn reminds me that I am in control of my own life now and that my ex husband no longer has any power over my life. Benn also supported me through taking a DNA test with regards to my long lost father getting in contact with me after many years and more recently, Benn was like my life line when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last June. Benn would simply tell me to focus on the facts that I did have when I felt I was completely out of control. For anyone thinking of working with Benn, I can honestly say that he has impacted on my life and what I have got mostly from the sessions is that talking about the past, it has gone! It is about addressing what is going on in the here and now and using the tools he has given me to focus on the present because we can not change the past but we can control the present and work therefore to the goals that we want to. Thanks to Benn making me believe in myself, I have not only completed a level two qualification in Mental Health but I am now doing another level 2 qualification in Domestic Abuse. Benn made me realise that I can really do anything if I stop thinking negatively because that’s the only thing that stops me growing as a person.
Thank you Benn for all you have done because without you, I think I would still be stuck in the past. You taught me that it’s about focussing on my life now and what I can do to change things. I never thought I would of had half the courage to do what I needed to do but I am now stronger than I ever thought possible and that’s thanks to YOU! (L Bedford Google Review)
