Using our virtual address in London could not be more simple! You use our address as your own (you can open a business, bank account, receive parcels - you name it), we receive and sort your mail. You can then opt in to either have your mail scanned and uploaded to our secure online portal or have it despatched to you, where ever you are in the world.

Fees and Charges - Straightforward charges with no hidden costs. We have an absolute policy of honesty and openness when it comes to pricing.
There are 4 costs you must consider:
- The Service Fee: the cost to set up and hold an account with Expost London. You can choose to try out the service for 3 months (£125) or go for a 12 month membership (normal price £300, but at the moment we are offering a £100 discount!).
- Handling Charges: there is a small cost for receiving, processing and scanning (if you sign up for it) your mail. When you join, we set you up with a Pay-as-you-go postage fund and as your mail comes in, we deduct a small charge for each incoming item. This charge is separated into 3 sizes: letter (70p), large letter (£1.10) and parcel up to 20 kg (£3.50). If you sign up for 'Scan and View', there is a charge of 60p per page.
- Forwarding your mail: when you choose to have some mail items forwarded, you pay the onward postage plus a small handling charge.
- Surcharges: a surcharge is only applied when a service you request requires manual intervention. These are rare and the rate is fixed at just £3.50.

We accept all major debit and credit cards in our secure Stripe checkout, as well as PayPal (including PayPal Credit, which lets you spread the cost over 4 interest free payments).
ID Verification - We need to verify the details you submit to comply with legal requirements - this way we can deliver a secure service to all our customers.
Once account setup is complete, we need to verify your identity through our verification partner Hooyu. If you are a private individual or a Sole Trader, we will need to conduct a basic check (copy of your Photo ID, drivers license, passport or an ID card). You will also need to upload a selfie for a liveness check.
If you are applying as an incorporated business (LTD, LLP, LLC, PLC), you need to provide documents for an enhances identify verification (Photo ID and proof of residential address for each director, beneficial shareholder and the account holder; proof of trading address; certificate of incorportation and a proof of registered office address).

Scan and View - Scan and view all the mail you receive through your secure online portal.
You can choose to set the standing instructions in your account control panel to ‘Open & scan my mail on arrival‘. Whilst this option is active, every letter delivered to your mailbox is opened and a single front page is scanned, then uploaded to your secure viewer.
You can then use the controls to: 'Add to despatch' (on demand forwarding of your letter to your set address); 'Scan all pages/Reveal PIN' (scanning the rest of the pages included or revealing the PIN/CVV number of your bank card), 'Download'; 'Delete Scan'; 'Destroy'.
Mail Forwarding - Use your secure controls to tell us whether to forward your mail on to you Daily, Weekly or Monthly, and when to send by Royal Mail, Signed-for, or by Private Courier.
