Marketing : Myth or Magic?
As part of his unique and exclusive Marketing Masterclass Series, Shak Anwar was once again presenting to a group of SME Owners/Directors and Start ups, this time trying to demystify the dark arts of Marketing, a subject that many business owners realize that can help them but at the same time see Marketing as a minefield littered with potentially costly mistakes.
Shak explained how Marketing was a fundamental process that any business had to embrace if it was to grow and stay ahead of its competitors. Using his thirtyfive year experience in the UK Sports and Fashion Industries his jargon free presentation covered all the key aspects of the Marketing process from market segmentation through to distribution strategies, product design, pricing structures and branding. Using key Industry examples he also showed how all these various elements were interrelated and how the Marketing process works in practice in real time.
With Q&A sessions after every major topic the evening was also an opportunity for the Owner/Directors to discuss specific issues related to their own businesses to which Shak was happy to contribute.
