NEW WEBSITE PUTS STREET KIDS OF AFRICA CENTRE STAGE
Stockport-based worldwide charity Retrak has worked with Trust Brand Communications to launch a new website www.retrak.org designed to drive donations and build its reputation for sector-leading expertise.
Retrak is committed to creating a world where no child is forced to live on the street.
The charity who recently featured on The Great Comic Relief Bake Off* asked Trust, also based in Stockport, to design and build a new website which would better highlight their campaign, facilitate donations, and enable sharing of their unparalleled research.
A hard-hitting and impactful new site gets a clear message over and allows Retrak to content manage with easy upload of news, case studies, stories and research.
To help understand the global work and reach of the charity Trust interviewed key people in Retrak’s international team talking to colleagues in Malawi, Ethiopia and the States.
Stuart Bradley, Trust Managing Director, said: “We knew the importance of engaging all members of Retrak’s team so that we could tell their stories and build a website that met their wide-ranging needs.
“In this instance the clarity of the story telling and the strategy behind the user journey were more important than ever, because the key task of the site is to drive engagement with the charity’s cause and dramatically increase donations.”
Steve Thomas, Retrak’s Finance Director, said of the website: “Trust has helped us create a site which touches hearts and minds and informs people about street children across Africa and their terrible plight. It’s relevant and engaging. We have high hopes that this platform will take us to new heights in awareness and, crucially increase fund-raising for our work.”
Diarmuid O'Neil the CEO of Retrak added, "I wanted to say a huge thank you for the phenomenal amount of time, work and energy you put into getting our new website up and running. I really appreciate all Trust did. It looks superb and communicates who we are exceptionally well. The feedback on the new site from our staff, supporters and external colleagues has been fantastic. Great job really well done, thanks a million."
