Heart attacks can strike at any time and to almost anyone, no matter how fit you are or how well you look after yourself.
Surprisingly, it kills proportionatly more women than you'd expect. We assume heart attacks to be in the domain of the middle aged man in a stressful job, or in poor health. We assume there will be chest pains and tingling in the left arm, jaw, and breathlessness. However, we often miss the signs in a woman, so by the time first aid is considered it can be too late.
