As a first aid trainer, I look for clients to pay me to train them and their staff or families in First Aid practices. I don't charge as much as the "Branded" training companies or organisations, but I do give very good, current and relevant training based on many years as part of the Emergency Services of the UK.
It's not all about the money though. I do have a social conscience and I do believe that it is right and proper to make first aid skills available to all, especially where children are concerned.
To this end, I have started to run short courses in community centres/nurseries to pass the word out. Any fee I would have received, I am donating back to them to help fund the provision of a defibrillator.
